Most people never question the game they’re playing. Money. Work. Consume. Repeat. But do you know the rules? Do you know who wrote them? 1. A Brief History of Money Money didn’t start as some divine truth. It was a human invention. Once upon a time, we bartered. Kings realized they could mint coins and demand taxes in those coins. Now people had to work for the king’s money just to avoid punishment. The same system has been reinforced by us perpetually. Fast forward: Governments print fiat currency. They decide the supply by setting the price of money itself—interest rates—through the Federal Reserve. They demand you pay taxes in their currency. You work your whole life for paper they print at will. That’s the original trick. And it still works. 2. How Taxes Really Work (The $1 Million Example) You think you earn $1 million? Watch the system take its cut over and over: Earn it → ~50% income tax(Fed and CA) → $500,000 left. Spend it → ~9% sales tax → ~$45,000 more gone. Seller earns it → ~50% tax on profit → ~$200,000 more gone. Seller spends → more sales tax. Save and invest? → capital gains, dividends and interests taxed. Buy property? → property tax every year. Die? → estate tax on what’s left. Here's a simple math without the rest of taxes.
Economic terms: tax cascading, double taxation, tax drag. Same money. Taxed again and again. Forever. 3. The Psychology of the Game They know your desires: Security Status Power Belonging They know your fears: Poverty Exclusion Failure Advertising, social pressure—they keep you playing. You’re told you’re a winner if you have more. More than your neighbor. More than last year. But the house always wins. 4. The Damage It Causes This game costs us more than taxes:
We forgot what wealth really is. 5. The Benefits of the System It’s not all evil. Let’s be honest. Social stability. Motivation to work. Financial responsibility. Technological advancement. Medicine, infrastructure, communication. Food and shelter. Without some system, we’d be living in chaos. But don’t confuse useful with just. Don’t confuse beneficial with fair. 6. How to Avoid Getting Played Here’s the truth: You don’t have to reject the game. You just have to know you’re playing. Learn the rules. Become aware: it’s designed to keep you working/playing. Decide when enough is enough. Don’t let money own you. Make it work for you. Don’t choose money over love, relationships, kindness. Find your true purpose beyond accumulation. Serve others without asking for money. Minimize your taxes legally. Build income streams that don’t kill you. Become heart-centered instead of money-centered. Work on yourself so you can tame your fears and desires which makes you less prone to others' control and manipulation. Realize your purpose is not to hoard fake paper. Wake up. See the truth. Don’t kill yourself—or others—for money. Final Words Play the game. But don’t get played. Life is not about winning in someone else’s casino. Life is about remembering who you are. What you love. What you stand for. And living it—fully, freely, consciously.

We spend much of our lives asking questions: Why am I here? What should I do? How do I fix this? When will I feel better? The mind loves these questions. It feeds on inquiry. But here’s the catch: the mind is shaped by the ego. And the ego — no matter how well-meaning — sees life through a narrow lens of identity, survival, and control. So even the best questions are often limited by what the ego thinks is worth knowing. That’s why some of the most profound truths don’t come from questioning at all. They come from stillness. The Nature of Epiphany An epiphany is an answer that arrives unannounced. You didn’t plan it. You didn’t chase it. It just… appeared. Like a flash of lightning on a clear night. It’s not the result of linear logic — it’s a download from somewhere deeper. A soul-level remembering. A glimpse beyond the veil. And most of the time, the mind catches up after the knowing has already landed. Why Silence is Sacred Silence isn’t just the absence of noise. It’s the absence of interference. It’s the pause that lets truth rise from beyond the chatter of the mind. In silence, you're not asking — you're receiving. Not analyzing — but becoming available. Not solving — but allowing. This is why spiritual teachers, mystics, and creatives across centuries all return to the same principle: Get still. Get quiet. Then let what’s real rise. Final Thought: If your mind doesn’t have the question, but your heart suddenly has the answer… That’s not confusion. That’s grace. Epiphanies are soul-whispers. And they don’t care if you were asking. They just come when you're ready. Reading tip: Click on Epiphanies under Categories to read more about the subject. Introduction: Why This Story Matters We often believe that the state of our relationships depends on how others behave. But in truth, much of it depends on the story we’ve created about them in our mind. “She’s cold and doesn’t care about me.” “He’s manipulative.” “They always try to control me.” “They’re selfish. They’ll never change.” These stories may contain truths. They may have grown from real pain, real betrayal, or real patterns we’ve observed over time. But here’s what’s also true: The story we tell about someone becomes the lens through which we see them. And over time, that lens becomes a wall. It holds us back from forgiveness. It keeps us distant from people we may still care about. It locks us in resentment and prevents us from healing. Sometimes, these stories even bleed into how we relate to other people, causing patterns of mistrust, avoidance, or guardedness in entirely new relationships. What’s Happening in the Mind When you’ve been hurt, your mind forms a narrative to protect you. It says: “This is what they did. This is who they are. And I won’t let it happen again.” The brain links pain with identity: “This person caused this pain — therefore, they are dangerous.” It’s a survival instinct — but it can become a spiritual and emotional prison. Even if the story is partly true (e.g. “they are manipulative”), it becomes an identity label. And when we see someone only through their ego patterns, we stop seeing their humanity. An Example: The Manipulator Let’s say someone in your life constantly manipulates you. It’s exhausting. It’s real. You’ve felt used, maybe even emotionally twisted. So the story becomes: “They’re a manipulative person who’s always trying to get what they want.” But now pause — and go deeper. Ask yourself:
Maybe manipulation was the only way they could get love, safety, or validation when they were young. Maybe they still use it because they don’t know how to ask for their needs honestly. Understanding this doesn’t excuse the behavior — it softens your heart, so you don’t meet pain with more pain. A Powerful Example: The Movie “Pig” In the film Pig, the main character seeks revenge for the loss of his beloved animal. When he finally meets the man who stole from him, he doesn’t attack or retaliate. Instead, he cooks him a meal — a dish tied to a loving memory the man shared with his wife who is now unconscious due to illness. That act bypassed the ego and touched the man’s heart. The wall crumbled. Emotion broke through. And healing began. This is what happens when we stop fighting the ego and begin speaking to the soul. Compassion is Not Weakness This work is not about denying your hurt, or pretending everything’s okay. It’s not about letting people continue to harm you. It’s about choosing to see the full picture, so your responses come from clarity, not pain. You can:
Why This Work Is Hard (and Worth It) Some people may still trigger you. You may rewrite the story one day, then snap back into the old version the next. That’s okay. It’s all part of reconditioning the mind. You’re not trying to erase the old story in one sitting. You’re practicing a new way of seeing. And with practice, you’ll return to your heart more easily and more often. Your Reflection Practice Choose someone in your life who is important to you — especially someone with whom you’ve had conflict, distance, or emotional pain. This can be someone from the past or present. Then journal through the following prompts:
Your Assignment
Closing Thought When you change your story about others, you don’t just heal the relationship — you heal your own heart. You stop carrying old pain forward. You soften the space between you and them. And even if they never change, you do. And that change? That peace? That shift in energy? It changes everything. What if insight wasn’t just mental — but divine? This is where Gamma comes in. Often overlooked in everyday life, Gamma is the brainwave state linked to the highest forms of consciousness, the aha! moments that feel like downloads from beyond, and even spiritual awakening. But Gamma doesn’t show up randomly. It’s a state you can prepare for — and invite. What Are Gamma Waves? Gamma brainwaves range from 30 to 100 Hz, the fastest of all brain frequencies. These waves are associated with:
When you experience a sudden epiphany — the kind that changes your life — you’re likely in a gamma burst. It’s your brain creating an instantaneous global connection, fusing memory, insight, emotion, and intuition into one flash of clarity. Gamma in Mystics, Monks, and Moments of Awakening In groundbreaking research, neuroscientists observed elevated gamma activity in the brains of advanced Tibetan monks during meditation. These monks weren’t just calm — they were in a state of profound, expansive awareness. Love-based meditations, in particular, triggered the most powerful gamma waves. These findings suggest that gamma isn’t just about cognition. It may be the neural signature of transcendence — the bridge between the personal and the divine. How Gamma and Alpha Work Together Think of Alpha as the fertile ground. It’s where you relax, open your awareness, and quiet the noise. Gamma is the lightning strike. It’s the moment the insight arrives, fully formed. Together, they form the perfect flow state:
Your goal isn’t to chase Gamma — but to create the conditions for it to arise. Practices That Induce Gamma States You don’t have to live in a monastery to access gamma. These practices have been shown to boost gamma activity and support spiritual downloads: 1. Insight Meditation Rather than emptying the mind, this style focuses attention on a single subject (a question, concept, or sensation) while observing arising insights without judgment. It combines clarity with curiosity — a recipe for gamma bursts. 2. Breathwork Rhythmic or conscious breathing techniques can alter brainwave patterns, especially when paired with emotional release. Gamma often appears after strong somatic breakthroughs. 3. Deep Focus (Flow States) When fully immersed in a creative, intellectual, or physical activity, your brain can enter “flow” — a state associated with both alpha and gamma synchronization. 4. Acts of Love and Compassion Heart-based states (like gratitude, empathy, and unconditional love) elevate not just your mood, but your frequency. Studies show these emotions correlate with increased gamma activity and neural coherence. How to Invite Gamma Into Your Daily Life The more often you create space, the more likely your brain is to deliver insight. Here’s how to build a gamma-friendly lifestyle: Stillness Windows Designate sacred “alpha zones” during your day — no phone, no noise, just presence. These might include:

Let the answers come later — in a flash. Final Insight: Epiphanies Are Spiritual Invitations Gamma is more than a brainwave. It’s a state of divine intelligence. It’s when the veil thins… and something greater than you whispers through the neurons. When you get the message, don’t just admire it — act on it. Because real transformation doesn’t happen when you understand something. It happens when you become it. Walking meditation is a beautiful practice that not only relaxes your body and mind but can also lead you into deeper states of consciousness, such as Alpha and even Gamma brainwave states, where profound realizations happen. Here’s how to approach it to get the most out of the experience: 1. Choose the Right Trail
2. Minimize Distractions
3. Engage All Six Senses Fully experience your surroundings through:
Take your time. Stop and observe. Take photos if you feel inspired — nature is the ultimate playground for your inner artist. 4. Deepen Presence When you relax into the present moment, your experience of nature intensifies — similar to how senses are heightened under the influence of edibles. One reason for this is simple: full concentration on the now magnifies your experience. The vast majority of nature has never been truly experienced by most humans — not because it isn’t beautiful, but because our attention is often elsewhere. 5. Be Mindful
6. Set Intentions, Not Expectations
7. Cultivate a Childlike Curiosity Children are naturally curious — that’s why they learn so quickly and experience so much joy. Scientists and passionate people share this trait too: they remain curious, which keeps their mind and heart alive. Adopt a spirit of curiosity during your walk — it will deepen your experience and open new doors within you. 8. Try New Sensory Exercises
9. Understand Brainwave States Meditation often aims to move your brain into deeper states:
During walking meditation, you’ll likely move in and out of Alpha and Gamma. Let it happen naturally — never force it. Relaxation comes first. Depending on your current mood and state of mind, it might take 20–30 minutes to start feeling relaxed and present. Once in Alpha:
In both states, you’re much more likely to experience epiphanies and “aha” moments — profound realizations that may even be life-changing. 10. Why Epiphanies Happen Normally, our daily lives interrupt our thoughts constantly. We accumulate fragmented, incomplete thoughts that never fully connect. But when the right environment, relaxation, mood, information, and attention come together, your mind naturally makes connections between those fragments — unlocking wisdom already inside you. (I’ll write more about this important process in a future post.) 11. Pace Yourself
Reminders
Suggested Questions and Prompts for Walking Meditation If you feel called to, you can take one or two reflection questions with you on your walk. You can also allow your intuition to guide you naturally without any set focus. Either way, there is no need to force insights or outcomes—set your intention to stay open, curious, and present, and trust that whatever needs to arise will come in its own time. If you want structure, try asking yourself:
Or simply notice and reflect:
Gentle Tips
Remember, the goal is not to force answers but to create the space where answers naturally arise. Final Thoughts Walking meditation is a beautiful practice of reconnecting—with yourself, with nature, and with the present moment. Each walk will be different. Some days you may feel deeply connected and inspired; other days you may simply enjoy a peaceful stroll. Both are valuable. Trust the process. The more you practice, the more natural it becomes to enter deeper states of awareness. Let nature be your guide, your mirror, and your playground. Walk with presence, curiosity, and an open heart—and allow the wisdom within you to arise when the time is right. Also check out this post about The Healing Power of Nature We May Not Know. The ego never desires true happiness for you because it doesn’t comprehend what it is. The ego only wants to be high from one moment to the next so it has you addicted to the feeling. If you are seeking for long lasting true happiness, ask your heart. It knows exactly where it is. - Feelasoulphy Once your heart is open you will receive the truth and wisdoms of God/Universe. You will no longer be bounded by the limits of the ego. - Feelasoulphy If you are truly heart broken, I congratulate you that you have finally arrived at the deepest part of your heart all the way from...your head... A wise friend once told me that our life journey is merely the distance from our head to our heart, a whopping 16 inch long! I believe that we spend our entire life traveling back and forth between our head and our heart. We have all been to the heart but it took some of us a traumatic event to go straight to the heart instantly which is a blessing in the sky. When we hit rock bottom and broke down that’s when we can no longer live with all the lies we have been telling ourselves and we finally arrived at the heart. This is a place without ego and only truth exists. When we cry, we cry out of our heart and not our head because we feel it directly from the heart. Sadness is bad if we only focus on the negative emotions that it brings to us. When we turn sadness into compassion we are then acting upon the power of love. Next time when you feel the pain in your heart again remember that you have arrived at the heart and a positive change in your life is in the making. Take this precious opportunity to reflect on things and see what you can do now to improve your life! It’ll always be your choice to stay here or return to your head. - FeelaSoulphy |
